Deidre Foreman, CEO, Career Keys
As the President of Community Action in Carole Park Inc in 2009, our committee engaged PACE (Qld) Pty Ltd, Deb Crompton to undertake valuable and strategic work for our organisation. Over a six month period, the work included review of our strategic plan, improving staff relationships, quality outputs, review of internal systems and processes, development of HR and operational policies and procedures, recruitment staff ,seeking funding opportunities and partnerships for our organisation. PACE (Qld) Pty Ltd were exceptional in achieving our aims and goals, very professional , easy to work with, reports and processes were exceptional. I have no hesitation on behalf of the committee in recommending this organisation for similar work within the community and business sectors. Should you require a verbal reference, please contact Ms Crompton for my contact details. Tracy Haigh-Evans
Deb Crompton has provided long term professional support to ACCES Services Incorporated through her contracted work with us in organisational development and change management, developing concepts and writing project briefs and proposals, and in supporting other community development and capacity building functions both for our organisation and for members of the broader community, especially those coming from migrant and refugee backgrounds. Her background in Government, the not for profit sector and volunteering has been a sound basis on which she is able to draw a broad range of skills and capacities. In addition to the previously listed roles she also has extensive experience and expertise in strategic planning, conducting mapping and critical analysis of data and information and facilitation of workshops and other formal sessions. I would recommend Deb to prospective clients and would have no hesitation in saying they will engage a person who is passionate, has high motivation and energy levels and is willing to tackle the most challenging and complex tasks. Gail Ker, CEO, ACCES Services Inc
It is our pleasure to provide this testimonial for Deb Crompton who facilitated and delivered a range of training activities during 2008 and 2009.
Inala Community House was successful in receiving funding to deliver Governance Training to people on Management Committees in the Inala Community. This was a highly successful project, with much of this success attributed to high standard of work delivered by Deb. Topics that Deb delivered included “Management” and “Governance”:
Module One: Module Two:
Governance Made Simple Strategic Vision & Planning
Building a functional committee The Constitution – know you obligations
Conflict Resolution Effective Risk Management Practices
Conducting a Successful Meeting Promoting your Community Organisation
Tailored Training Workshops was also delivered by Deb to meet the needs of specific community groups eg Neighbourhood Watch. She also ran a series of workshops to newly arrive Refugee African community groups covering: “Money Matters”, Intro to Asset Based Community Development, Intro to Strengths Based Practice. Deb’s strengths are her ability to target or level the training to meet the needs of participants. She facilitates in such a way that they participate, identify their strengths, and feel very comfortable to openly ask and discuss what they are not clear about. This takes a lot of trust. Deb was very well prepared, with well presented presentations, and lots of handouts and materials for participants to take away.
We have also contracted Deb to develop some complex policy work for us, which was also at a very high standard. Inala Community House highly recommends Deb to any organisation wanting to undertake work around their organisational aims, objectives, strategic planning, policy and governance arrangements.
Michele Meredith, Chief Executive Officer, Inala Community House, 9th April, 2010
